Schools of Architecture in the US with accredited programs
In August of 2008 each of these sites was searched with the search term license and architect (not enclosed in quotes). Pages returned (among the top ten hits) that included information regarding post-graduate internship and practice are noted shown beneath to the school.
If these results are an indicator of the commitment of these institutions to integrate their programs with the practice of architecture in the spirit recognized by the Boyer Report then there is a great deal of very serious work to be done. Please bring to my attention any such pages that I have overlooked so that I can add them to the list below.
Approximately one fourth of these websites return no pages whatsoever in response to the search, a disquieting result for any institution offering enrollment in an accredited program (these institutions are indicated in italics). Visit these websites to learn more about these schools and their programs.
